Amelia died on March 23, 1964, at the age of 85, at the Wm James Hospital in Kings Lynn, County of Norfolk of congestive cardiac failure.
The death certificate was witnessed by daughter Marjorie
Vaughan. She was survived by husband Frank Chatten.

At the time of death she was at The Florals on Lynn Road in Dersingham.
She died of angentine cardiac failure, she had diabetes and
aoleoroschentic heart disease.
